a. Main Idea
6:24 - And the LORD commands us to do all his statutes, to fear the LORD out God, for out good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

b. Reason Written
6:25 - And it shall be out righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

c. Atmosphere (slight paraphrase)
Where? 1:1-2 - [Near] the Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab - eleven days journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kedesh-barnea.

When? 1:3-4 - fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month after he had slain Sihon and Og.
